Next Commission Meeting
The next Combative Sports Commission meeting will take place Monday, October 18, 2010 at the Schwan Center in Blaine. The meeting will begin at 7pm.
IMPORTANT INFO FOR ALL MMA FIGHTERS
Beginning July 1, 2010 all MMA fighters must present a National ID card at events. You must apply for this card prior to your next scheduled bout. The link for the application is located on the right-hand side of the home page. Please make sure that the application is sent in with a picture attached. There is no cost for this license.

(A) "MMA" is a general term used to identify a mixed martial arts event that describes the convergence of techniques from a varity of combative sports
disciplines includiung boxing, wrestling, judo, jujitsu, kickboxing and others.
(B) All contests and exhibitions of mixed martial arts must be conducted under the supervision of the Minnesota MMA Commission, unless otherwise provided
by specific statute of the Minnesota Revised Code.
(C) This includes all professional and amateur mixed arts events
